Week 2, Day 1: Accumulation

More stress.  Have to practice putting it behind me.  Long day at a client site, home, napped for 20 minutes, then out to the gheyrage.  Warmed up with some light SLDL's, band dislocates, and light pressing.  Not quite recovered from Sunday, but close enough - main problem area seemed to be the back; especially noticeable on the upper back, and showed up on pressing.  Took things slow.

Axle Press (bands): 1x5x75,75, 95,125,135,145/10,140/10
A bit of improvement from last week, and I'm happy enough with this performance.

Snatch Grip SLDL: 1x8x135,185;1x3x225/10...
Well, these did not go well at all.  Either I'm going to have to keep the weights really low on this for a while, or try subbing in something else, maybe RDL?  Anyhow; back started feeling squirrelly on 185, but nothing terrible.  225 was a different story: weight moved easily enough, but I got partway up on the 3 rep, and a lot of pain from the mid-lower back.  Dropped the bar; didn't seem to be any last damage.  Tried 225 again, 1 or 2 reps, same thing.  Same story dropping back to 185.  Don't know if the extra ROM is killing me, but...this was not "good" pain.

3-0-3-0 Tempo Seated Military: 1x5x45,45,95,135,155/10,150/10
Happy enough here as well - much smoother than last week, and it's funny how I have to resist the urge to explode the concentric.

Anyhow.  Not sure what to make of the SLDL stuff, but pressing seems to be remaining on track for now.
