Week 2, Day 3

Didn't eat yesterday,  basically - a few crackers with PB, and then some rice and a couple ounces of chicken for dinner.  Decided to catch some downtime today, since it was snowing.  Got the dogs out for a nice 2.5 mile hike, kept up a brisk pace.  That's the first time since Mishka was very young that I took all 4 by myself; they're good, though, and we quickly fell into a rhythm.  No issues while walking.

Ate some crackers and PB for lunch.  Decided to train, and finish out last week.  I'll then train on Wed, Fri, and Sun - or Thu, Sat, and Tue as an alternate.  At least this way I'm not missing any primary sessions.

Warmed up with some ab work, hammer curls, band stretches for forearms and biceps, bodyweight hip mobility stuff.  Hopped in.

Stone Squats: 1x8x190,190,255,275/9;1x255x4/fail
Started to cramp up pretty badly in the low back and hammies.  Body is still out of whack.  All things considered, this was a decent performance - making a little headway under these circumstances counts for a lot.

Barbell Shrugs: 1x10x135,225,315,405/10,365/9
Overshot RPE on this, not surprised, and not concerned.  Dropped 10% and hit a solid set to finish.

Hammer Curls: 1x12x55,60/9,55/9

Not terrible, all things considered.   GI tract still not healthy; loperamide is keeping things in place for now.  Pretty sure I picked up salmonella.  Not going to speculate where, that's pointless.

I'm a few days into the Lyrica.  So far, liking it a lot - my whole body still seems to have less pain.  No weird sides so far, no dopey feeling at all.
